Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — 4th of July Event Guide

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble 4th of July Event

The new Wib Wob 4th of July Event has two major parts to it: The Lucky Crank-a-kai and the Liberty Way Event Map. At 4000y a crank, the Lucky Crank-a-kai can be accessed on the Crank-a-kai menu and features a completely new selection of Yo-kai and cranking mechanics. The Lucky Crank-a-kai apparently has increased pull rates for rare Yo-kai, but this has not yet shown to be true.

Cranking the Lucky Crank will fill 10% of the Fever Time gauge, a mechanic imported from Puni Puni's Dream Roulette. Once filled, the next crank will have an extremely high chance of pulling something rare. Fever can not decay, so there is no pressure to charge it quickly or crank immediately once Fever Time is activated.

There is more to it than that; unlike the regular Crank-a-kai, where maxing all Yo-kai in a rarity tier makes it easier to crank rarer Yo-kai and Items, maxed Yo-kai can still be cranked in an Event Crank-a-kai. If a maxed Yo-kai is cranked, they will drop a Soul Secrets corresponding to their Rank: B-Ranks drop Mini Soul Secrets, A-Ranks drop Small Soul Secrets, and both S-Ranks and SS-Ranks drop full Soul Secrets. Super Soul Secrets can not be cranked. While maxing an Event Crank-a-kai in the Event period is a difficult task, doing so creates a pure Soul Secrets machine because Exporbs are not present.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — 2x Pull Rates for Rank-SS, Libertynyan SS Pass, and Sand Suit

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Libertynyan SS Rate Up

The Libertynyan SS Pass and Sand Suit have both been difficult to pull, but players are in luck. From today through Thursday, July 6th, the pull rates for Rank-SS Yo-kai, the Libertynyan SS Pass, and the Sand Suit have all been doubled in the Lucky Crank. Combined with the free Y-Money from the Comeback and Share the Wealth Campaigns, players are in a good position to pull something desirable.

Reminder: Anyone who has not shared and retweeted this week's Share the Wealth Campaign posts should do so soon, because the rewards for each week are naturally only based on the stats for the week they were posted in.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Share the Wealth and Comeback Campaigns Reward Returning Players and Veterans

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Comeback Share the Wealth Campaign

Two new Events have been added alongside the 4th of July Event: The Share the Wealth and Comeback Campaigns. Players who have not played Wib Wob in over a month can log back in to instantly receive 10,000 free Y-Money and 2,500 more on the next four days they log in. for a total of 20,000 free Y-Money and a Comeback Coin. The money equates to five free cranks in the Lucky Crank-a-kai, while the Comeback Coin is a reskinned Special Coin with Kyubi Awoken and Venoct Awoken added to it.

Veteran players looking for some free Y-Money are still in luck: tomorrow, June 30, the official Yo-kai Watch Facebook page and Twitter accounts will create posts that players can respond to with their Player Codes (friend codes) for a chance to win 30,000 Y-Money and a Comeback Coin. All players responding to the posts will receive up to 5,000 free Y-Money depending on how many shares and retweets they get, so make sure to share and retweet the posts. There will be one post on both Twitter and Facebook every week for the next five weeks, for a total of 25,000 free Y-Money.

The 4th of July Event is Wib Wob's biggest ever, so it was already the best time to come back to Wib Wob. Now that these Campaigns are running, anyone considering getting into it should log in and give the Lucky Crank-a-kai a few cranks!

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — 4th of July Event

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble 4th of July Event

The biggest Event to ever come to Wib Wob has arrived! Featuring five new Event Yo-kai, three new Event Maps, Event Points to trade in, a 4000y Event Crank, a Pass Yo-kai in the Event Crank, and more, there is plenty to do in the 4th of July Event. The Ultra Liberty Way Map contains a Hidden Stage with Libertynyan S, who even has Tribe Restrictions on his Stage. Many Puni Puni mechanics have finally been implemented into Wib Wob to create what is, by far, the most exciting Event ever.

While the Lucky Crank-a-kai may take most people's attention right away, the normal crank has had Small and Mini Soul Secrets removed. The Lucky Crank-a-kai itself has some changes, too: Unlike Puni Puni's Event Cranks, the Lucky Crank-a-kai only costs 4000y and includes the Fever Time mechanic present in the Dream Roulette. After doing many cranks, Fever Time is temporarily activated to increase the chance of getting a good pull.

In-depth Event coverage, including a complete Event guide, will be coming as soon as possible. The 4th of July Event will run through July 9th. Thank you to LEVEL-5 and NHN for listening to player input and creating the best Event yet.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Libertynyan SS Tracer Soultimate Move Demonstration

Libertynyan SS' Soultimate Move has been revealed: He is a Tracer, the first of his kind in Wibble Wobble. His Soultimate is the same as some fan favorite Puni Puni Yo-kai's, including the Merican Legend Kirakoma. When Ultra Liberty Shine is used, a star appears on the screen and follows the player's finger for the next few seconds, popping any Wib Wobs it touches. The damage from popping these Wib Wobs is then applied to a multiplier and dealt to a single target to create the strongest Soultimate Move. Tracer Soultimates massively outdamage Single Attackers', such as Demuncher and Chymera.

This Soultimate Move type can be used to grind Y-Money in the most efficient manner possible. It greatly outpaces flooding on three target Stages with an All Attacker and Slurpent because no flooding is needed to make Y-Money with Tracers. Libertynyan SS even gets Tribe Unity with Elder Bloom and Unikirin for increased Attack to make his Soultimate Move even more potent and cement himself as the most powerful Wib Wob. Players should do their best to grind as much Y-Money as possible in preparation for his release tomorrow.

Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters — Best Buy Reveals New Box Art

Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters Box Art

Best Buy US and Best Buy Canada recently updated their pages for Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters with a brand new box art. This features the Wicked Yo-kai, including the Executives, and Darknyan, which are all featured in Psychic Specters. The box art change is likely due to the negative reaction to the box art's original neon green background, though why this was changed from Shin'uchi's blue is still unknown; when asked for a comment back in April, LEVEL-5 had no information available on the color change.

A reverse image search shows this is a new image only being used by these two Best Buy websites, so it is not fan made. Other retailers, such as Amazon, GameStop, and Target, continue to use the original box art, but the amount of effort required to make an all-new box art for English audiences suggests it was created after the modified Shin'uchi one.

Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters releases this Fall.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — The Strongest Yo-kai Arrives This Monday!

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Event Teaser

This Monday, the most powerful Yo-kai in the game is coming exclusively to Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble! His Soultimate Move type has never been seen before in Wib Wob; the perfect application of his incredible strength.

Adding a Yo-kai this mighty to the Medallium will not be easy. Wib Wob players: start saving up Y-Money immediately!

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Ogralus Terror Time Event Releases, Includes Momotaronyan

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Orgralus Terror Time

Wib Wob's first new Event since March and second new Event of the year has finally launched. Orgralus Terror Time operates exactly the same as previous Terror Time Events while allowing players to recruit the Single Attacker Ogralus instead of Gargaros or Orcanos. There are three Event Maps, each with varying difficulty, and four new Yo-kai in the Crank-a-Kai: Monkeynyan, Doggynyan, Pheasanyan, and Taronyan, whose name has been slightly changed from its original as Momotaronyan. "Shad. Venoct" is 12 characters, as is Momotaronyan; this was a localization change, not a change made due to character limitations.

These Yo-kai were originally left out of the Orcanos Terror Time Event due to regional differences and swapped out for the Fruitnyan, since Yo-kai Watch 2 was releasing a month later. Since the Momotaronyan quartet makes their debut in Yo-kai Watch Busters, this could hint at a localization.

The other Yo-kai that was supposed to be exclusive to this Event, Leadoni, has been replaced by Mynimo. While the Event announcement states there are Event Missions, there are none to be found. This is nothing new for Wib Wob; the addition of Event Missions to this Event should not be expected.

Yo-kai Watch Comic — Issue 1 of 3 Releases

Yo-kai Watch Comic 1

After numerous delays, the first issue of the Yo-kai Watch comic from IDW has released. IDW has announced that the Yo-kai Watch comic is a miniseries, not a full series; there will be three issues, with each focusing on a different time period: past, present, and future. Shogunyan, Jibanyan, and Robonyan will be featured in issues 1, 2, and 3, respectively.

The comic is a fresh take on Yo-kai Watch with nods to the franchise's Japanese origins that will not be found in the localized parts of the Yo-kai Watch Cross Media Project. IDW distributes their comics well, and with each issue priced at $3.99, interested Yo-kai Watch fans should pick up the first issue here.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Soul Secrets S Event

Yo-kai Watch Wib Wob Soul Secrets S

Just as the Select-a-Coin purchase Event correlated with the first Scramble Battle, the Yo-donut Scramble Battle has its own purchase Event: Soul Secrets S. Right after Soul Secrets were made much harder for players to crank by introducing Mini Soul Secrets, Small Soul Secrets, and low Rank Yo-kai to the Crank-a-Kai, Soul Secrets S have gone on sale for "everyone who wished [sic] they could make their favorite Yo-kai stronger".

Soul Secrets S give 1.2x the EXP of a normal Soul Secrets, and Super Soul Secrets S give 2.4x EXP. They can both be purchased through Monday, May 22; however, only one of each is available. The Soul Secrets S costs $4.99 while the Super Soul Secrets S costs $7.99. Altogether, $13 can be paid for 3.6 Soul Secrets.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Event — Yo-Donut Scramble Battle

Yo-donut Scramble Battle

This month's Scramble Battle has begun, and it has a few additions to make it more exciting. All of the new Yo-kai in the Yo-donut Scramble Battle are recent additions to Puni Puni as well, and most of them are viable. Event Missions are finally back in Wib Wob, and Noko has been replaced with the D-Rank Charming Stunner, Jumbelina.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Kat Kraydel, and Crank-a-Kai Update

Yo-kai Watch Wib Wob Kat Kraydel

A new update has been released for Wib Wob that adds the final Circle of the Divine Paradise. The Boss is Kat Kraydel, who drops a Soul Secrets upon defeat. This is the final permanent content update Wib Wob will receive for a long time; all of the others are tied to Yo-kai Watch 3.

The Crank-a-Kai has also been updated again. Along with Hidabat Awoken being added for this week only, the Crank-a-Kai is back to normal with eleven indefinite additions: Devourer, Komajiro S, Robonyan F, Komajiro A, Jibakoma, Darknyan, Hovernyan, Espy, Kiwinyan, Agon, and Dracunyan. Mini and Small Secrets are still in the Crank-a-Kai as well.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Mystery Way Rerun and New Crank-a-Kai Additions

Mystery Way

After many fans requesting it, the Mystery Way Event has returned with some new additions. As usual, there are three Maps of increasing difficulty with the Goldy Bones Boss at the end. When defeated, he might drop a random Crank-a-Kai Coin. All Stages are now 50% more difficult, causing the final Goldy Bones Boss in Ultra Mystery Way to deal over 1000 damage. In exchange, he can now drop Coin Gs when defeated.

There are three Hidden Stages, each with a Yo-kai that can drop a Fusion Item. On Mystery Way's Hidden Stages, these Yo-kai have a much greater chance of dropping it. Hidden Stage 1 contains Payn, who drops the General's Soul. It can be unlocked by clearing Stage 7 in 65 seconds or less. Clearing Stage 19 with a Score of 150,000 or more will unlock Hidden Stage 2, which has Master Oden; he can drop a GHz Orb. Finally, clearing Stage 31 with Zerberker unlocks Hidden Stage 3. Zerberker, the main Yo-kai of Hidden Stage 3, can drop the Shard of Evil.

Additionally, the Crank-a-Kai has been completely overhauled with new Yo-kai in every Rank. There are Rare, Event, and Evolved Yo-kai, so this change will likely only last until the Event ends on May 7th. Happierre Awoken and Venoct Awoken have also been added to the Crank-a-Kai, but they are only available this week.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters Box Art

During today's Nintendo Direct, the localization of Yo-kai Watch 2: Shin'uchi was formally announced as Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters. While there is no concrete release date, it is confirmed to be releasing this Fall. Psychic Specters is an enhanced version of Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls that features a new ending, an expanded Medallium, and exclusive Quests, areas, and Bosses, including new Blasters Big Bosses. Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters is more than another version of Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls. It is the definitive version that features many hours of exclusive content that can not be accessed in Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls. Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — 1st Anniversary Event Continues With Crankable Bosses

Yo-kai Watch Wib Wob Anniversary

Wib Wob has continued the Anniversary Event by removing the previous Event Yo-kai in the Crank-a-Kai and replacing them with Slimamander S, SV Snaggerjag S, Sproink S, Gargaros, and Orcanos this week. Aside from Orcanos, all of these Yo-kai are quite good and should be cranked by anyone who has not obtained them yet.

To make cranking these Yo-kai easier, a 2x S-Rank drop rate Event will be running this week as well. Kyubi Awoken will also be available in the Crank-a-Kai this week due to the Awoken Yo-kai rotation, and he has a higher drop rate than usual.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Busters Big Boss and Awoken Yo-kai Analysis

Yo-kai Watch SS-Ranks

As a part of its goal to provide a unique experience from the mainline Yo-kai Watch games, Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble introduces a new, powerful, exclusive Rank: SS-Rank. SS, or double-S Rank Yo-kai's Soultimate Moves are typically one Soultimate Level stronger than a typical S-Rank, making them equivalent in power to Legendary Yo-kai.

Yo-kai Watch Comic — Issue 2 Covers Revealed

Yo-kai Watch Comic Issue 2

The covers for issue 2 of the Yo-kai Watch comic have been revealed. The first, featuring Shogunyan and Snartle, is drawn by Dono S??nchez-Almara and will be available to everyone. The second, drawn by Phil Murphy, shows some popular characters from Yo-kai Watch 1 alongside the Yo-kai Watch Model Zero. This cover will only be available to subscribers. The first, second, and third issues will feature Shogunyan, Jibanyan, and Robonyan, respectively.

One interesting note about the subscription cover: The Yo-kai Watch Model Zero is shown with Classic and Z Medals, rather than Yo-Motion Medals. While the anime changes its designs in the dub to match Hasbro's Yo-Motion Medal designs, it seems that the comic will stay loyal to the source material and use Z Medals instead.

Netmarble Announces New Mobile Game, Yo-kai Watch: Medal Wars

Yo-kai Watch Medal Wars

Netmarble, Korean developer of mobile titles such as Marvel: Future Fight and Star Wars: Force Arena, recently announced they are creating a Yo-kai Watch mobile game. No other details are known at the moment other than the fact that it will be released later this year. Netmarble's games are in a variety of genres, so it is difficult to know how Yo-kai Watch: Medal Wars will play. It will likely be free to play, since nearly all of Netmarble's other titles are.

Both Netmarble and NHN are Korean companies, so the localization of Yo-kai Watch: Medal Wars may take a path similar to Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble's. If the game is localized at all, the same communication pitfalls that hurt Wib Wob could come into play during Yo-kai Watch: Medal Wars' as well. It currently has no international release date, but Netmarble typically puts their titles on both iOS and Android, so Android users should be able to easily play Medal Wars when it releases in Korea later this year.

Hasbro Confirms Yo-kai Watch 3, Anime Season 3, and Yo-kai Watch 2: Shin'uchi at New York Toy Fair 2017

USApyon New York Toy Fair

Hasbro is exhibiting at the New York Toy Fair again this year, and just as they did last year with the Model Zero Watch, some of their products on display confirm the localization of future games and anime episodes.

While the Yo-kai Watch U Prototype or any other Yo-kai Watch 3 merchandise is not shown on the show floor, USApyon and what appears to be the Yo-kai Watch U Prototype above him appear on the display behind Hasbro's featured toys. Just as Hasbro featured the Yo-kai Watch Model Zero before the announcement of Yo-kai Watch 2 last year, this guarantees that either the third season of the anime or Yo-kai Watch 3 is being localized with companion merchandise, and if one part is being localized, the other part certainly is; the multimedia strategy is one LEVEL-5 has heavily invested in, and Yo-kai Watch's international release is no exception.

Yo-kai Watch 3 badges

While Wib Wob has made the localization of Yo-kai Watch 2: Shin'uchi and Yo-kai Watch Busters all but guaranteed, the localization of Yo-kai Watch 3 has been more up in the air. The only confirmation given so far is thanks to the Kula Sushi Bar Wib Wob collaboration giving USApyon and Cornfuze Wib Wob magnets, but nothing has been directly shown from Yo-kai Watch 3 itself until now. This week's badges include Yo-kai Watch themed ones, and Baito says the following about them:

"YO-KAI WATCH 2 badges! Yup, for the first time. You can grab some Yo-kai badges and even some character badges! Check 'em out if you're interested!"

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble — Komajiro S Comes to the Y-Money Crank-a-Kai

Yo-kai Watch Wib Wob Komajiro S

NHN has listened to the players' demands and added Komajiro S to the Y-Money Crank-a-Kai for the next week. He will be removed next Monday, January 30. The new Score Attack Big Boss is Kingmera, which shows NHN is not afraid to put Seal Yo-kai as Big Bosses. The actual Busters ones have all been added to the Medallium, but none have been used besides Rubeus J, Hardy Hound, and Whismellowman.

Yo-kai Watch 2 — Update Ver. 1.1 Unofficial Patch Notes

An update has released for Yo-kai Watch 2 on the Nintendo eShop today. Both versions, Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls, have received the update. Ver. 1.1 of Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls is separate from Ver 1.1 of Ganso and Honke; Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls launched with Ganso and Honke's Ver 1.2.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Guide — How the Crank-a-Kai Works

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Season 2 Campaign Coin

The Wibble Wobble Crank-a-Kai may seem completely random at first. Limited Flumpy Medal Available at Barnes & Noble Until December 22

Yo-kai Watch Flumpy Medal

Barnes & Noble has begun a promotional distribution for Flumpy similar to previous promo Medals' in the United States. The announcement states that customers who spend $10 or more on Yo-kai Watch merchandise will receive an exclusive Flumpy Medal, but each store is actually handling this differently.

Some are giving Medals away without any purchase, while others are giving a Flumpy Medal for every $5 or $10 spent on Yo-kai Watch merchandise. Due to their limited availability and inconsistent distribution, calling a Barnes & Noble location in advance is the best way to ensure a Flumpy Medal is available.

Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble Update Analysis — Infinite Inferno and How Not to Run a Wibble Wobble Event

Yo-kai Watch 3 Thanksgiving Event

Due to the controversial nature of NHN Playarts' recent actions, the following article is more opinion-based than usual.

As expected, two new Circles for the Infinite Inferno have been added. The 5th and 6th Circles have been added. Players can fight Dr. Nogut and Spooklunk on the 5th and 6th Circles respectively. They are just stronger recolors of Phantasmurai and Dr. Maddiman, so that is not particularly exciting. Anyone that does not have Daiz yet should be on the lookout for him; he is the Infinite Inferno's Noko.

Additionally, NHN Playart has released a new and incredibly controversial Event. This Event's poor execution is unprecedented even in Yo-kai Watch Puni Puni.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Eddiefrb

Hey folks! This is Eddie, or as some of you might know me, Eddiefrb on Discord and TheDiamondPiggy on Reddit. Being a youngster, I tend to get into all sorts of mischief, and kids tend to take Halloween very seriously. Planning out routes, finding out which houses give the best confectionaries, timing runs, and so on. Even though this Halloween I chose to skip out on the candy, I got did my fair share of tricking in order to ultimately get the treat — that is, the winning position in the Yo-kai Halloween Tournament. 101Leafy has invited me to share my team, the thought process behind who I chose and why, and my Yo-kai's Items and Attitudes, so without further adieu, here is Eddie's Winning Supernatural Entourage in excruciating detail!

Yo-kai Watch 2 Tip — Quickly Raise Yo-kai for Competitive Play

Yo-kai Watch 2 Training

In order to maximize a Yo-kai's stats during Official Battles, two mechanics must be utilized: the Springdale Sports Club, which can give up to +25 to a single stat, and Attitudes, which can give up to +26 to a single stat. While slowly Leveling a Yo-kai to Level 60 was previously thought to be the fastest way to get the maximum Attitude stat increase, there is a much quicker way. This method also raises a Yo-kai's Seriousness to its maximum, eliminating the need to use A Serious Life.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Tip — Acquire a Gold Tag in a Few Minutes

Yo-kai Watch 2 Gold Tag

Tags are used in the Yo-kai Watch Busters mode to access the different difficulty levels. The highest level, Golden Adventure, awards exclusive and rare prizes that require much less Oni Orbs to crank than the Silver Adventure's. The only issue: At a hefty price of 1000 BP, Gold Tags are difficult to buy. Instead of grinding BP to buy them, there is a much simpler and faster solution. This process can be repeated an infinite number of times with no penalty to generate a high number of Gold Tags. The steps to obtaining one are listed below:

  1. 1. Using the bed in the protagonist's room, choose to "Sleep until morning".
  2. 2. Go downstairs.
  3. 3. Using the sink behind the staircase, choose to "Wash your hands".
  4. 4. Go back upstairs and repeat steps 1-3.
  5. 5. The exact amount of washes is randomized each time, but after around 10 washes, Washogun will appear. When defeated, he will drop a Gold Tag.

When performing this process, choose to "Brush your teeth" as well. Doing so around 10 times will trigger a fight with Count Cavity, but the exact amount is random. He will give a Holy Exporb when defeated. While this is not an efficient way to grind Experience, it is a nice bonus when when grinding for Gold Tags. Sleeping until night instead of day will cause Mom to interrupt and offer dinner. This slows down each day's cycle by a few seconds, so always choose to sleep until morning.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Guide — Fusing Rare Souls For a Competitive Advantage

Yo-kai Watch 2 Rare Souls

Regular Equipment is fine for the story mode, but it can not compete with Souls in a competitive setting. Souls can give almost equal stat bonuses as top tier Equipment without any downsides. Additionally, Souls can provide unique and powerful effects. Yo-kai can be turned into Souls at the Temple of Viture.

While some of these Souls alone can be very strong, such as the Soul Gauge replenishing Oranyan Soul, Souls themselves can be Fused together to make even stronger Souls. These Rare Souls can only be created with certain combinations of Souls, all of which are listed in this guide.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Mirapo Guide

Mirapo can be found in many areas of Yo-kai Watch 2. At 28 in total it can be easy to miss a few, but locating all of them is important. Mirapo can be used to warp between any previously found Mirapo, and finding all 28 of them grants a Bronze Trophy. This guide contains a list of all Mirapo in the order they are listed on the Mirapo warp screen along with a map screenshot showing each Mirapo's exact location. For locations with Mirapo inside such as Everymarts, a map with the entrance to the location is provided instead.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Guide — Supplementing Stat Growth and Changing Behavior With Attitudes

Yo-kai Watch 2 Attitudes

A Yo-kai's Attitude is central to their use. Attitudes control how often a Yo-kai performs each possible action: Attack, Technique, and Inspirit. They also provide bonuses to stat growth. This guide lists all Attitudes, their effects, and which book gives each Attitude. Seriousness, the second part of a Yo-kai's Attitude, is also explained.

Yo-kai Watch 2 Tip — Get an Extra Crank Every Day

Yo-kai Watch 2 Yo-kai Fusion Guide

The Crank-a-Kai is unfortunately limited to a random amount of uses each day in Yo-kai Watch 2. While there is no way to influence the initial amount of cranks granted each day, it is possible to get an extra crank on top of them.

Near Eddie's house in Breezy Hills, there is a Baffle Board that has High Gnomey as the solution. Gnomey is automatically befriended during the story and evolves into High Gnomey at Level 28. After Summoning him, talking to him will result in an extra crank being added to the daily allowance. This can be done every single day with no penalty.
